24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

Your appointment is very important. We hold your appointment spot just for you. Please provide us with 24 hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. This way we will be able to adjust our schedule accordingly and may be able to accommodate other clients on our waiting list. We understand that unavoidable issues come up. We will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. However, if last minute cancellations or no shows become a habit then you will be charged a cancellation fee. Less then 24 hour notice may result in a charge equal to 50 percent of your reserved appointment. No shows with no notice will result in a charge of 100 percent of your service amount. Your stylist may also chose to refuse to schedule any future appointments with you.


LATE / TARDY POLICY

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Remember, there will always be traffic, lights and so on. If you are more then 10 minutes late we will call to check on you. We will always try our best to accommodate you if you are running behind. Please remember that your tardiness affects the remainder of our day and several other peoples day by delaying them for their services. If you are unable to make it by the starting time of your appointment then we may have to forgo parts of your service in order to keep within the time allotted for you, or reschedule the whole appointment. Please call or text if you think you may be late. We prefer to know as early as possible so we can do our best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of everyone's day. Please remember that your appointment is reserved for you and only you. Sending a friend or family member in place of yourself is not acceptable unless approved by your stylist ahead of time. These policies allow us the opportunity to provide you the best possible service. If you are unable to make your appointment, by giving us enough notice we can alert our standby clients of any openings. Therefore, allowing us to provide the best service possible to everyone. GUARANTEE SERVICES

We truly want you to be 100 percent satisfied with your service at Virde Salon. If you are not 100 percent satisfied we ask that you contact us within 5 days of your appointment so that we may schedule you to come back in as soon as possible to assess your situation. Each scenario will be assessed on a case by case basis. Any issue reported longer then 5 days from the original appointment date will not be eligible for a free adjustment. Also, we know that after a hair service appointment it can be tough to shell out the extra cash for professional products that your stylist recommends. However, we advocate taking the very best care of your hair. And, that means using quality products that support your in salon services. We have access to every professional brand and chose to only use what we believe is the very best product for the very best value. We guarantee the longevity of your services be it color, extensions, keratin treatments only when purchasing your home care regiment from us. We use high quality, professional products that are not tested on animals and are bio compatible. The home care products that we sell are created by the same manufactures to support your in salon service. The typical products that we recommend range in price from $22-$38.

As a courtesy to others please silence your cell phones and other devices. Do not use speaker phone. Please use headphones or text. Thank you!


CHILDREN SAFETY

During your child's appointment, the child must be well behaved and well attended. Children need to be able to still reasonably still so that the stylist can preform a quality service. If your child does not have an appointment then we prefer they stay at home during their parents appointment. We feel as a business, children who visit the salon during their parents appointments or children who are unattended in the waiting area pose a safety issue. We work in an environment that has sharp scissors, razors, chemicals, hot tools and so on. If something were to happen to your child it would be devastating. We encourage parents to visit the salon without their children unless the child has an appointment. If you must bring your child to your appointment be conscious of how long your appointment is and be prepared with appropriate snacks, headphones, coloring and so on. The expectation is that they will be well behaved, well attended and not interfere with our ability to do our job and give you the best possible service, and also not interfere with others who come to the salon to relax. Salon equipment is very expensive and not to be played with. We understand that accidents happen but non the less you will be held responsible charged for any damage caused by your child.


PET POLICY

Please leave your pet at home. Don't get us wrong we love pets. But, the salon is not a good environment for them. We work with chemicals, sharp implements and hot tools. It would be crushing if something were to happen to your pet. In addition we have a stylist who is severely allergic to dogs. If you have a legitimate service dog that is a different issue and we will accommodate you. According to the Department of Justice, under the ADA, your service animal must be leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with your service animals work. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal or other effective controls. A person with a disability can be asked to remove their service dog from the premises if the dog is out of control, if the handler does not take effective action and if the dog is not housebroken.


WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY

Although we are wheelchair accessible our shampoo chairs and bowls are one unit. The person in a wheelchair must be able to get out of the wheelchair and into our shampoo chairs in order to receive a hair wash or color service.
